We out­line the con­tem­po­rary role of cit­i­zens’ assem­blies in widen­ing democ­ra­cy and their poten­tial for address­ing the cli­mate cri­sis. We then look at Jane McAlevey’s ideas about orga­niz­ing, a sci­en­tif­ic warn­ing about tip­ping points and two new devel­op­ments in green tech.
