Hans Alday
Hi! I am Hans, and I am a graduating fourth‑year Bachelor of Health Sciences student at the University of Manitoba. I am honoured to be your host for the first episode of our podcast!
As the outgoing President for the University of Manitoba Undergraduate Leaders in Healthcare (UMULH), I have spent the past three years championing student engagement, supporting meaningful programming, and creating platforms that elevate diverse voices in medicine. I am passionate about bridging the gap between students and the healthcare world — whether through panel discussions, community initiatives, or this very podcast. My passion is founded on the belief that leadership is not about titles, but about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow.
My hope for the UMULH Podcast is simple: to spark curiosity, highlight real experiences in healthcare, and empower the next generation of leaders in healthcare. I hope you enjoy our first episode and stay tuned for the next one!
