Anishiative is a grassroots Indigenous youth leadership program based in Winnipeg's North End. The group aims to spark change within the community through volunteerism. What started with distributing food in the community has now grown into a wider initiative, with volunteers cleaning up litter and sharps, collecting coats, winter gear and other essential items for those in need and providing food to passersby.
