Episode 4: CommUNITY204
CommUnity204, which is a volunteer organization mostly made up of youth and young adults who were or are involved with Child and Family Services.
The
group works to help marginalized people with access to basic needs,
such as water, clothing and food, harm reduction, safety and housing in
collaboration with similar groups across the city.
They believe in heart work and people helping people!

Daniel Hidalgo
Daniel Hidalgo is a single father who took his experience in Manitoba's child welfare system and started Comm.UNITY.204. Daniel focuses his efforts on helping marginalized community members to access basic needs, harm reduction, and assurance of safety. His goal is to create a whole new way to provide positive connections that can improve the lives of kids and youth. Daniel was nominated as one of forty finalists for the CBC Future 40 in the social activism, volunteering and community category!
