Theatre Reviews

John Says:

A hilarious stand-up comedy show inspired by reading from the phone book. There are a lot of laughs here and many big ones. Graham is very likable, quick witted, and knows how to deliver a joke. You have only one more
chance to catch this show, don’t delay. I’m hoping he returns to Winnipeg soon (he hinted at it).

Cindy Says:

This one-man show literally starts with Graham Clark reading the hot tubs and spas section of the phone book. This part is funny on account of a couple of businesses with ridiculous names but the audience gets skirmish wondering if this will be all that happens for the entire show. Delightfully, it is not, as Clark shortly moves on to a wandering, but funny narrative of the how this show was created, the history of phonebooks, uses for a phonebook, and best of all – the contents within a phonebook from A to Z. Clark is witty, personable and charming and improvises half the show flipping through the phonebook letters at audience request. This show was only 45 minutes long and left the audience chuckling on the way out. A fun and enjoyable show that’s short and sweet, this one is worth checking out.
