Canada’s Walk of Fame, with sup­port from the Richard­son Foun­da­tion, is pre­sent­ing a jam-packed night cel­e­brat­ing Cana­di­an music at the 51^st annu­al Fes­ti­val du Voyageur in Win­nipeg on Thurs­day, Feb­ru­ary 20. This excit­ing event demon­strates the expan­sion and growth of Canada’s Walk of Fame’s nation­al plat­form, reach­ing more and more com­mu­ni­ties across the coun­try with its ini­tia­tives. In addi­tion to a head­lin­ing per­for­mance by pop-jazz songstress Char­lotte Cardin, this night will fea­ture 2019 RBC Emerg­ing Musi­cian Pro­gram Grand Prize win­ner and indie-pop artist BAY­LA (Mon­tréal), togeth­er with Sec­ond Prize win­ner Shy­lo Shar­i­ty (Van­cou­ver) and Final­ists Clay and Friends (Mon­tréal), Dave Samp­son (Hal­i­fax) and The Sun Har­mon­ic (Toron­to).

This next gen­er­a­tion of break­through artists were care­ful­ly select­ed from a group of 1,600 appli­cants from across Cana­da in 2019; and this event marks the first time the pro­gram will show­case its win­ners out­side of Toronto
