We trav­el Ontario and beyond to pack­age full-edi­tion doc­u­men­taries and inter­views about ordi­nary lives lived remark­ably. The pro­grams are most­ly in the Eng­lish lan­guage with Ukrain­ian includ­ing music to inform the top­ics. Each pro­gram is 28 min­utes in length.

    Nasha Kasha is broad­cast from CHRW-FM on the cam­pus of West­ern Uni­ver­si­ty in Lon­don, Ontario. 

    In Slav­ic and Jew­ish cui­sine, kasha is any grain boiled in water or milk. Like our pro­gram, it’s warm, nour­ish­ing and just a lit­tle bit messy: not unlike life itself.
