    A bunch of dudes sit­ting around lis­ten­ing to records and argu­ing. The dis­cus­sion and musi­cal selec­tions of each epsiode are based around a week­ly theme. Fea­tur­ing hosts Sam, Jon and Rob, all of whom are in or have been in bands togeth­er in var­i­ous com­bi­na­tions since 1995

    Guest hosts appear week­ly, includ­ing local musi­cians who per­form live on the show.

  • Zassman Plays The Classics

    Nathan Zass­man presents his favourite clas­si­cal music pieces in an edu­ca­tion­al the­mat­ic style. Zass­man Plays The Clas­sics includes sym­phonies, operas, con­cer­tos, over­tures, and cham­ber music. Nathan stud­ied with the great Arnold Jacobs at The Amer­i­can Con­ser­va­to­ry of Music in Chica­go before mov­ing to Win­nipeg. He per­formed as 2nd trom­bon­ist with the Win­nipeg Sym­pho­ny Orches­tra for 21 years. A for­mer mem­ber of the U of M Fac­ul­ty of Music, Nathan taught music edu­ca­tion majors at the Fac­ul­ty of Edu­ca­tion, coached and con­duct­ed brass ensem­bles, and pro­vid­ed pri­vate instruc­tion for all brass instruments.
