Suman­gali Seva Ashram is a wom­en’s refuge and com­mu­ni­ty ser­vice orga­ni­za­tion found­ed by Dr. S.G. Sushee­lam­ma in the 1970s. Now its ser­vices have reached mil­lions of peo­ple. They include safe free accom­mo­da­tions, coun­selling, job train­ing, com­mu­ni­ty, schools, and love. Indu Ramesh of Ban­ga­lore, India pro­duced this doc­u­men­tary for WINGS, inter­view­ing res­i­dents and oth­ers involved in the Ashram, and espe­cial­ly the founder her­self. First released in 2003, updat­ed to 2023.
