Whoop It Up...With UMFM

On our final episode, Broose is joined by members of Toad Turner / Prairie Soul Acoustic, two halves of the same whole!

When led by the soothing lead vocals of Kara Hummelt, Toad Turner is a process of learning through the journey of what it means to be a band. Their intention is to attain a balance of equal giving and receiving between one another and the universe and to feel the motions of energies playing, dancing, creating, contrasting, coloring, deepening and being within us and around us.

When led by Dustin Harder on lead vocals the band morphs into a wide variety of musical genres best described as Prairie Soul Music.

Toad Turner / Prairie Soul Acoustic offer a unique range of sounds in their show, created by the melodica, harp, washtub bass, ukulele, kazoo, jugs, guitar, and a mix of magical rhythmic instruments.

Don’t miss Toad Turner / Prairie Soul Acoustic as they close out this year’s Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival in beautiful Portage La Prairie — Sunday, August 28th at 6:15PM.
