On Episode 7, Broose is joined by the sound­scape cel­list won­der from the land down under, the amaz­ing Rob Knag­gs!

A hus­tler of dreams and oppor­tu­ni­ties, Knag­gs has per­formed for bel­u­gas on the Hud­son Bay, col­lab­o­rat­ed with throat singers, didgeridoo/​yidaki play­ers, and mem­bers of the Roy­al Win­nipeg Bal­let. He has shared stages with Tim Heck­er, The Saints’ Ed Kuep­per, and toured Aus­tralia wide with acclaimed US singer-song­writer Toni Childs. Draw­ing from ambi­ent post-rock and the noisy fury of punk, armed with an elec­tric cel­lo and loop sta­tion, Knag­gs’ orig­i­nal works move from fiery fuzzing roars to del­i­cate med­i­ta­tive shim­mers, show­cas­ing a dynam­ic per­for­mance that is inspir­ing and bittersweet.
