An LGBTQ+ orga­ni­za­tion receives fund­ing to build the first tran­si­tion­al two-spir­it­ed hous­ing project in Hal­i­fax. The inva­sive green crab is threat­en­ing native ecosys­tems in the Sal­ish Sea, off the B.C. coast. A local project, set up to pro­tect marine life, expands on Cortes Island. And the Food Shar­ing Project says food inse­cu­ri­ty is at an all time high in the Kingston region. The orga­ni­za­tion wants more fund­ing from Ottawa.
