the rest is noise

as you may know, the umfm radio family lost some pretty special to us this week. longtime radio presenter gail stockburn, better know to some of you as Gail Comfort passed away on Monday after a lengthy battle with cancer. I am not going to lie, I am having a hard time dealing with this as so many are and know that sometime in the near future I will put together a proper tribute to Gail filled with just a few of the many songs and artists that she shared with me. But for tonight, I felt that the best way to pay tribute was to share one of her programs to demonstrate what she brought to radio and what made her so special to all of us at the station. So here, without interruption is Gail speaking about a group of musicians that she loved — Blackie & The Rodeo Kings.

Rest in peace Gail, you will forever be missed and will never be forgotten.
