Pahan Pte San Win /​Grey Swan Buf­fa­lo Woman/bearpawteachings.ca Pahan Pte San Win is a woman of prayer and cer­e­mo­ny with Dako­ta, Cree & Métis ances­tors. She works with her hus­band, Wanb­di Waki­ta, a Dako­ta Spir­i­tu­al Leader and as a sacred team they share their mes­sage of love and peace to pro­mote heal­ing to all on Moth­er Earth. Pahan is an expe­ri­enced work­shop facil­i­ta­tor and ther­a­peu­tic coun­selor. She has spent a life­time learn­ing about heal­ing – heal­ing from addic­tions, heal­ing from oppres­sion, heal­ing from trau­ma and heal­ing from a dis­con­nec­tion to Cre­ator. Through­out her work, that spans over twen­ty years, she has helped many to find their own per­son­al heal­ing jour­ney. She is par­tic­u­lar­ly proud of her work with Indi­an Res­i­den­tial School sur­vivors and their fam­i­lies, sup­port­ing them to move from suf­fer­ing to liv­ing more ful­ly. Pahan Pte San Win is an accom­plished pro­fes­sion­al writer who has pro­duced the news for CKLB radio in Yel­lowknife, NWT and the award win­ning Good Med­i­cine Radio Show, which she co-host­ed with her hus­band. As well, she has act­ed in the role of Pres­i­dent of the Asso­ci­a­tion of Social Work­ers in North­ern Cana­da.
