Let's Talk About...

On April 26, 1986, a series of rash, and misinformed decisions caused a chain of events that captured the planet’s attention, casting our collective gazes past the Iron Curtain to the Ivan I. Lenin Nuclear Power Planet in Ukraine. The actions that followed cost countless lives, contributed to the shortening of countless more, and now leaves a swath of Ukraine’s fertile soil uninhabitable for a millenia.

More than 30 years later, HBO brings us the Chernobyl miniseries, and on this episode of Let’s Talk About, Jason (himself Ukrainian) will discuss the series, the disaster that inspired it, and how generations pass on the lessons and knowledge of the past.
