Let's Talk About...

On May 6th, a series of screenshots were shared on Twitter, showing a private group chat where numerous Winnipeg-born hockey players were seen making misogynistic and problematic comments. The principal actors in the group were Brendan Leipsic of the NHL’s Washington Capitals, Jack Rodewald of the AHL’s Springfield Thunderbirds, and Jeremey Leipsic, of U Sports’s University of Manitoba Bisons, while other players were included in the group.

On this episode of Let’s Talk About, Jason returns to talk about why these comments are problematic, why this keeps on happening in hockey, and what we can do to stop it.

**CORRECTION** It was mentioned that Nicole Zajac is related to former Bisons alternate captain Nic Zajac. This however cannot be confirmed. I’m sorry for the mistake.
