June 13, 2019: Ellen Brown from Public Banking Institute
Ellen Hodgson Brown is an American author, attorney, public speaker, and advocate of alternative medicine and financial reform, most prominently public banking. Brown is the founder and president of the Public Banking Institute, a nonpartisan think tank devoted to the creation of publicly run banks.
Host Sylvia Richardson speaks to Ellen about how the interest on the federal reserve debt is unsustainable and how the rules are written by the big banks, the public good that could be had by changing to a public banking system . How in the past the US prospered under such a system and how populist movements across the world are demanding change from the status quo.
