Grad Talks

Brad Cownden is a PhD candidate in theoretical physics focusing on how to describe the universe in the moments just following the Big Bang. This was when the universe was a in a very hot, very dense state that we’ll call a plasma.” This plasma was like a really thick soup made up of the insides of protons and neutrons. Hear how he’s working on mathematical models to explain this, what the Hadron collider and a beach ball have to do with it, and discussed the 6 extra dimensions you likely haven’t heard of.
