Mr. Yonza sets the record straight on what recalls mean for Tesla car owners where they receive over the air updates of the vehicle software which improves the car over time. He relates his experience of having his Tesla car serviced which is relatively simple and straight forward. You book an appointment from your car and go to the service center, or they come to service your car. Mr. Yonza discusses how Tesla has a strong focus on vehicle safety that is much better that traditional car manufacturers. He addresses media biases where for example over 80,000 internal gasoline cars burn up each year which never makes it on the news, but any time an electric vehicle catches fire it is all over the news. He explains how charging and range anxiety is overstated as the car software tells you how much you will have left when you reach your destination. It also tells you where you can charge. He explains that he gave up trying to get our province to support electric vehicles as there was no response, as our provincial government are not interested to support sustainable transportation. For the provincial government, adding electric loads in the province reduces exports revenues, a conservative mindset that goes against the role of any crown company with a monopoly.
