At The Edge Of Canada: Indigenous Research

Today our guest is Dene-Métis photographer, artist, poet and graduate student at USaskatchewan, Tenille Campbell. We chat about her first book of poetry published by Signature Editions: #IndianLovePoems. Campbell’s poems are a tour de force of sexuality and Indigenous eroticism, a no-holds barred look at love-making and love-giving in Indian Country today. Tenille has preformed her poems at Tipi Confessions in Vancouver and Edmonton, making everyone blush. I ask Tenille about her version of decolonial love, what ideal Indigenous masculinity looks like to her, Facebook censorship narcs, and how she handles the ever-present gossip mill and switching filters from being a graduate student literary critic to a poet. Tenille is also an accomplished photographer check out her work at: Sweet Moon Photography.
