This week, I cover the original samples behind most of Channel Orange. It's pretty limited as far as samples so I could only put so many songs. Nonetheless, Frank Ocean proves once again how he garnered his prestigious status among contemporary music and pop culture with his fresh and timeless sound. Which a lot of it has to (obviously) do with the brilliant production!

From Playstation to Stevie Wonder, Frank Ocean and his team cleverly pay homage to many mediums of art that were inextricable with Frank and listeners alike with a similar palate. Moreover, the specific titles that were sampled within the album respectively, were nothing short of sublime, and prove why Channel Orange is highly regarded among his fans, critics, and music nerds!

What? Travelling? What is this due talking abo- SHUSH. This episode features some very talented folks across the world, who've contributed to western contemporary media. Also, the weather was cloudy while I was curating the playlist so I thought, "hey, why not put music that reflects this melancholy feeling into my episode?". And that's what I exactly did.

I'm very thankful for you for taking the time to check out this show, I truly think of it as a vessel for my character and it really means a lot.
