The good folks at This, That & The Third were able to get in contact with Jord's people and arranged for him to make it down to the station. When Brendan found out that Jord would be joining him in the flesh, he couldn't believe it. 30 minutes prior to recording, a knock was heard at the door and in walked Jord armed with a two day old wrap purchased from the UC convenience store, a 4 liter water jug and his bicycle. Miracles do happen.

Tonight the lads will be picking up where things were left off last week with side b of The Slackers' '03 album "Close My Eyes". To have Jord in the house this evening is a true delight - sit back and enjoy the fun!

Death Cassette will be playing their first show this Saturday June.2 at the Handsome Daughter for the In 2 Months CD release party. This will be more fun than that time when you drank 6 Lucky Extras during your 3rd spare in grade 11 and puked all over the floor playing sponge hockey during afternoon gym class! Let's roll!!!

December.22 2018 marked the 15 year anniversary of Joe Strummer’s passing and in honour of the legend himself, there will be a tribute show happening this Saturday at the West End Cultural Centre. The Farrell Bros., The Crackdown, Guns of Wolsely, and The Murder Birds will be playing and it's gonna rock. To talk about the show and all things Joe Strummer, local punk-rocker and all around good dude, Ian Lodewyks is in the house. Let's party!

Episode 41: This afternoon Brendan's sitting in the Captain Kirk seat joined by his co-pilot, Noah "The N-Dawg" Maladrewicz and the boys will be travelling at a lightspeed pace through the galaxy of groove. Bebop, Intergalctic Funk, smoother than ice hip-hop, and punk rock are the name of the game today baby. Episode 40: Today we're ripping the donut open and going right for the jelly. All the good stuff baby. Brendan's gonna be spinning a ton of jazz and punk-rock with some hip-hop breaks sprinkled in the mix. Noah "The N-Dawg" Malazdrewicz got lost in a forest on his way to the station and will hopefully return for next weeks show. If you're in the woods and smell cabbage, he's close.
