UMFM 101.5 is seek­ing an Inter­im Pro­gram Direc­tor to assist in cov­er­ing parental leave start­ing in Jan­u­ary 2010. This 13-week term posi­tion is set to com­mence on Jan­u­ary 5th and will run through to April 9th. This posi­tion is ide­al for some­one who has a keen under­stand­ing of the role that Cam­pus and Com­mu­ni­ty Radio plays in Win­nipeg and is look­ing to sup­ple­ment his or her cur­rent income. Excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tion and com­put­er skills are essen­tial. $15.00 per hour, 20 hours per week, work­ing dai­ly from 1pm until 6pm.

Duties will include:
• Main­tain­ing CJUM’s week­ly talk pro­gram­ming
• Archiv­ing & load­ing CJUM pro­grams for rebroad­cast
• Cat­a­loging new music on a dai­ly basis
• Han­dling mis­cel­la­neous pro­duc­tion duties
• Over­see­ing pub­lic ser­vice announce­ments
• Assist­ing with all aspects of dai­ly admin­is­tra­tion (pro­gram logs, CRTC com­pli­ance, sched­ul­ing)
• Oth­er gen­er­al admin­is­tra­tive duties based on demand
