On Tues­day, August 17^th, UMFM will be under­go­ing some work on our anten­na locat­ed on top of the Richard­son Build­ing and will be off the air for an extend­ed peri­od dur­ing that day to facil­i­tate the work.

We apol­o­gize in advance for the incon­ve­nience and assure you that the work is nec­es­sary to our broad­cast capac­i­ty and endeav­our to have every­thing back up and run­ning on the 17^th as soon as pos­si­ble. As a con­di­tion of the work, we will be under­go­ing some manda­to­ry test­ing through Inno­va­tion, Sci­ence and Eco­nom­ic Devel­op­ment (ISED) once the work is com­plete for a peri­od of up to 6 weeks. You will notice that there is inter­mit­tent sta­tion iden­ti­fi­ca­tion noti­fi­ca­tions that will hap­pen every 30 min­utes dur­ing these 3 weeks.
