The Hockey Show Hits The Road For Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada!

UMFM’s favorite hometeam hockey trio hits the road and heads to Kenora to broadcast live as part of the kickoff for Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada Weekend! Teebz, Beans and TJ will hit the airwaves at 5:30 to bring you all of their trademark puck talk, with a few surprise guests guaranteed to join the fray!
Immediately after the broadcast, be sure to change over to UMFM’s second broadcast stream to hear the trio do play by play for the Alumni Hockey game, featuring NHL legends of hockey and Kenora Thistle alumni! A draft will take place to see local alumni’s like Bob Smith, Rick St. Croix and Ryan Reynard join NHL alumni such as Lanny McDonald, Darcy Tucker and Mark Napier and Kenora’s own Mike Richards. The game is guaranteed to be exciting and entertaining hockey and UMFM’s second stream is the only place to hear the call!
If you’re in the Kenora area, tickets are only $10 and are selling fast, and can be purchase from the Kenora Recreation Centre! If you’re headed out Thursday, why not make a weekend of it and stick around for the 13 hour live broadcast on Saturday, which will be accompanied by the NHL Centennial Fan Arena, which will be staged at the Whitecap Pavilion and Kenora’s Harbourfront.
