Special broadcasting during the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

UMFM is pleased to present a broadcast of A Day To Listen, a special program courtesy of the Downie & Wenjack Fund hosted by artists William Prince and Celeigh Cardinal featuring a number of Indigenous voices speaking on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as well as musical selections from a number of contemporary Indigenous artists.
The first half of A Day To Listen, hosted by William Prince will be broadcast between 9 – 11am CT in the timeslot regularly held by Cretin Radio. The second half, hosted by Celeigh Cardinal, will air between 1 – 3pm CT in the timeslot regularly held by The Pity Party. Our thanks to Rob and Byran, the UMFM hosts who have given up their program for the day to participate in this endeavor. As this is a syndicated program, a podcast / post-broadcast stream will not be available.
Our thanks to the Downie & Wenjack Fund and the NCRA for making this available and for more information on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation we encourage you to visit the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation’s online resources.
