In this show, for­mer Win­nipeg come­di­an Tim Gray hosts a group of eight up and com­ing local stand-up comics. Sun­day night’s per­form­ers var­ied in expe­ri­ence from a per­son who has a spe­cial on CBC Gem to an 18 year old just start­ing stand-up. A cou­ple of per­form­ers seemed uncom­fort­able being in front of an audi­ence, but per­form­ers need to start some­where. Some of them had fun­ny mate­r­i­al, includ­ing talk­ing about insur­ance, par­ent­ing and the Fringe. Sur­pris­ing­ly, a cou­ple of them even joked about how racism has per­son­al­ly affect­ed them. Not every joke land­ed, but over­all, the show was fun and a per­fect way to unwind after a day of fringing.
