12 (Twelve)

Twelve Angry Men had a profound effect on me when I saw it as a teenager, so I was onside with this homage to that play from the beginning. If they’d blown it, though, I’d have been more disappointed than most. Fortunately, their work stands up well on its own. The cast and director did a great job, and I hope to see some of the young performers on stage again.
I am not sure that a cavernous venue is the best place to stage a play like this, but this is the Fringe, and it allows more people to see this production. Don’t get me wrong; this is not a professional-calibre production, although I have seen some professional productions that are far less engaging. Well done, everyone.
