Rainbow Trout 2023 Lineup Announced!

The 13th annual event, which runs August 18 – 20 just south of St. Malo, offers three days of music with a hyper-local focus, camping, swimming, craft vendors, and more. Founded and organized by a dedicated volunteer-run group, the indie fest has a loyal audience and tends to sell out of passes every year.
Of this year’s 25+ performers, many are homegrown, and span plenty of genres. This year’s lineup includes indie folk/pop artist Bush Lotus, singer/songwriter Cec Lopez, post-punk band Fold Paper, Anishinaabe and settler folk-soul musician Ila Barker, singer/songwriter Karina Lawe, alt-country outfit Show Pony, indie pop/folk quartet STELLAR, indie pop/rockers Tinge, techno artist Viva Non.
Touring acts making their way for the fest include Winnipeg-based gloom pop pair Ghost Twin, Polaris Prize shortlisted artist Zoon, Toronto industrial techno duo Slash Need, and Calgary psych pop outfit Sunglaciers.
Other acts taking the stage include Crime Cellar, Mooki, Taylor Jackson, Cooking Delicious, Smoky Tiger, Ham, Cantor Dusty, Witchy Woods, Mutable Body, Body of Intridue, The Kaptain, Sam Gardner, Softswitch, Memory Pont, and The Sunshine Bunch.
