The 13^th annu­al event, which runs August 18 – 20 just south of St. Malo, offers three days of music with a hyper-local focus, camp­ing, swim­ming, craft ven­dors, and more. Found­ed and orga­nized by a ded­i­cat­ed vol­un­teer-run group, the indie fest has a loy­al audi­ence and tends to sell out of pass­es every year.

Of this year’s 25+ per­form­ers, many are home­grown, and span plen­ty of gen­res. This year’s line­up includes indie folk/​pop artist Bush Lotus, singer/​songwriter Cec Lopez, post-punk band Fold Paper, Anishi­naabe and set­tler folk-soul musi­cian Ila Bark­er, singer/​songwriter Kari­na Lawe, alt-coun­try out­fit Show Pony, indie pop/​folk quar­tet STEL­LAR, indie pop/​rockers Tinge, tech­no artist Viva Non.

Tour­ing acts mak­ing their way for the fest include Win­nipeg-based gloom pop pair Ghost Twin, Polaris Prize short­list­ed artist Zoon, Toron­to indus­tri­al tech­no duo Slash Need, and Cal­gary psych pop out­fit Sunglac­i­ers.

Oth­er acts tak­ing the stage include Crime Cel­lar, Moo­ki, Tay­lor Jack­son, Cook­ing Deli­cious, Smoky Tiger, Ham, Can­tor Dusty, Witchy Woods, Muta­ble Body, Body of Intridue, The Kap­tain, Sam Gard­ner, Softswitch, Mem­o­ry Pont, and The Sun­shine Bunch.
