Help bring back Rudolph's Smile
No stranger to UMFM’s airwaves, whether as part of past chart-topper Mahogany Frog, recent rockers The Catamounts or as one-half of Birdapres & Grey Jay whose great live sessions can be found here and here, Andy Rudolph is a mainstay in Winnipeg’s artistic community. He has supported UMFM’s efforts during our annual Pledge-O-Rama with his musical talents and now he needs the help of his community and we at UMFM are aking for your help.
After a recent, horrific, bike accident Andy was left with a mangled hand, skull fracture and broken front teeth. He now faces several dental surgeries and the eventual fitting of dental implants. Despite some savings by having the procedures done at the School of Dentistry, he’s facing over $3000 in costs and while we’d argue his work with the likes of Art City, VideoPool and The W.R.E.N.C.H. are priceless, that’s a hefty bill he’s facing. Friends of Rudolph have started an IndieGoGo campaign to raise money to offset those costs. We at UMFM have already lent our support to the campaing and we encourage you to do so as well.
