Happy Holidays From UMFM!

From our radio family to you and yours, we wishing you nothing but the best over the holidays and in the year ahead! Though 2020 has been an extremely weird year, we remain steadfast in our belief that by sticking together we can hopefully come out of this COVID-induced haze in the new year.
Starting Monday December 21st and running until Monday January 4th, the station will be closed — yes, we realize that we’ve been closed since March, but we mean that our staff and volunteers will be taking some well earned days away from radio related things. While some programs will run as usual, others are taking a break and in their stead we’ll be bringing you some special seasonal programming. During the break some of our syndicated talk programming, including Democracy Now will be airing repeats or maybe pre-empted for some seasonal or end of the year specials.
It’s certainly been a strange year for our volunteers — we’ve been programming from home for the past 9 months, and it looks like this will be the norm for the forseeable future as we start 2021. We can’t thank you, our loyal listeners, enough for all your support throughout this stretch — your emails and calls have been the fuel that has kept us going, strengthening our resolve and sharpening our focus!
We see you, we hear you and most of all, we appreciate you — thank you for your support.
