Draw­ing com­par­isons to the likes of con­tem­po­rary com­pos­er Yann Tiersen and allu­sions to the great min­i­mal­ist Erik Satie, Blais still man­ages to find his own sin­gu­lar sound with­in a heav­i­ly exper­i­men­tal structure.
