The Bros. Lan­dreth launched their debut album Let it Lie in 2013 draw­ing upon the shared sound­track of their child­hood. Let it Lie won the 2015 JUNO Award for Roots & Tra­di­tion­al Album of the Year and earned The Bros. Lan­dreth a nom­i­na­tion for Inter­na­tion­al Artist of the Year at the 2016 UK Amer­i­cana Music Awards.

Let it Lie received praise from heroes like Bon­nie Raitt, who lat­er record­ed her own ver­sion of the stand­out track Made Up Mind on her 2022 release, Just Like That. Her record­ing of the song won a Gram­my Award for Best Amer­i­cana Per­for­mance at the 65^th Annu­al Gram­my Awards in 2023.
