Pride Winnipeg presents Lavender Country

Unheralded outside of the Pacific Northwest when they first released their album in 1973, Lavender Country made history with the first openly gay country album. Decades later the artist is finally getting their due and sharing their music with music lovers young and old on a tour that brings them to Winnipeg to play the West End Cultural Centre on Saturday September 17th.
Tickets for this special event are available now for $27.50 plus fees through Evenbrite.ca so don’t miss out on your one opportunity to hear Queer history through song and story at the West End when Lavender Country plays the music of revolution and liberation on Saturday September 17th, presented by Pride Winnipeg and proudly supported by 101.5 UMFM.
