Indige­nous Music is cel­e­brat­ing Nation­al Indige­nous Peo­ples Day with a free all-day fam­i­ly-friend­ly con­cert at The Cube in Winnipeg’s Exchange Dis­trict on June 21. 

The Nis­tumee Neepi­nee Keesikow Con­cert will span the gen­res and spot­light 20 Indige­nous artists from Man­i­to­ba along with a DJ play­ing music by Indige­nous artists between sets, food ven­dors, and crafts by Indige­nous artisans.

The live music line­up tak­ing the stage fea­tures up-and-com­ing acts along­side more estab­lished per­form­ers for a packed day of inspir­ing Indige­nous voic­es. Artists slat­ed to per­form include Becky Lou, Bran­di Vez­i­na, Daniel Désor­cy, Drez­den, Gator Beaulieu, JC Camp­bell, Jer­ry Sere­da, Joe Max­im, Kris Paul, Kris­ten McK­ay, Kwiat, Low Bud­get Rock Star, Mar­tin Des­jar­lais, Mic North, Nel­son Lit­tle, Rhon­da Head, riel., Stun, The Blood­shots, and Vio­let Vop­ni.
